June 2010
Moir Environmental have begun the installation of a new sewage treatment system
for Barrhill Holiday Park, Girvan, Ayrshire. The system includes a new septic
tank, new biological tanks, a new reedbed and two pumping stations. When complete
the system will cater for 50 static vans and 30 touring vans.
May 2010
Moir Environmental have designed and installed an upgrade of the sewage treatment
system at South East Fullarton Farm, Meigle, Perthshire. The project for W.P.
Bruce Ltd. involved the installation of biological tanks between the existing
septic tank & reedbed. This has significantly increased the treatment
capability of the system which serves 300 seasonal fruit workers every summer.

Moir Environmental have refurbished the package sewage treatment plant at
Highgrove House Hotel, Troon, Ayrshire for Costley and Costley Hoteliers Ltd.

Moir Environmental have renewed and refurbished an entire private water supply
system from the source to the house. The system for Dalquhairn Farm, near
Barr, Ayrshire was totally overhauled including collection tank cleaning,
renewing of 400m of water pipe and the installation of a new filters and an
ultra-violet disinfection unit.
September 2009
Moir Environmental are the first in Scotland to install the new Balmoral Hydroclear
50-pop, the largest package sewage treatment plant in their range. The system
installed at the new Strathaven Rural Centre also includes a vertical flow
reedbed to provide further treatment of the sewage.

Moir Environmental have refurbished a 1,000m2 of reedbed at Thrumster WWTW
near Wick on behalf of Scottish Water.

Moir Environmental Ltd have been appointed as certified "Accredited Installers"
for the "Titan Pollution Control" range of products. Darren Crane, Sales Manager
with Titan Pollution Control said: "Accredited status has been awarded
in recognition of Moir Environmental's hard work and their consistently high
standard of installations over the past few years. We look forward to future
success together to provide our customers with a high quality product backed
up by professional installation".

Moir Environmental have installed a new filter & a ultra-violet disinfection treatment system for the water flowing through the otter enclosure at Heads of Ayr Farm Park. The owners of the park approached Moir Environmental to help clean up the water so that the public can enjoy watching the otters without having to peer through murky water!

Moir Environmental are pleased to be awarded the annual maintenance contract for the package sewage treatment plant & two reedbed treatment systems at Hansel Village, Ayrshire for the 3rd year in succession.
June 2008
Following 2 days intensive training Stewart Moir has passed his exam to become an "Accredited Service Engineer" for the maintenance & servicing of small sewage treatment plants. Stewart is now the proud owner of a certificate and an identity card! The accreditation is valid for 3 years and is issued by "British Water" the UK's trade association for the water industry supply chain.
